Lessons 3 & 4: Describing People and Irregular Verbs

  • Describe people based on their physical appearance
  • Describe people’s personalities
  • Practice describing family members
  • Learn the patterns for several irregular verb conjugations
  • Verbs: Poner (to put, place) and Parecer (to seem, resemble)

Lessons 5 & 6: Ordinal Numbers, Advanced Time-Telling, and Irregular Verb Practice

  • Learn how to describe the order of things using ordinal numbers
  • Become familiar with advanced time-telling phrases
  • Learn more patterns for irregular verbs
  • Practice using irregular verbs in sentences
  • Verbs: Quedar (to stay, remain) and Creer (to believe, think)

Lessons 7 & 8: Home and House and Uses of the Present Tense

  • Learn the rooms in homes
  • Describe your own home
  • Become familiar with typical furniture and objects found in each room
  • Understand the different contexts that the present tense is used in
  • Ask questions regarding how long things have been occurring in the present
  • Verbs: Hablar (to talk, speak) and Llevar (to carry, bring)
